SQL dbo.users error access in IIS when installing

Mar 17, 2010 at 4:40 PM

I installed first (on a W2K3 Server) SQL Express 2005 and later SQL Express 2008 and had the same error. I'm using Windows Authentication although I tried SQL Authentication too as per the instructions on the Documentation creating a user asigning it to the database, etc. and changing the web.config connection string.

Here is the error I'm getting:

Invalid object name 'dbo.users'.

<!-- body {font-family:"Verdana";font-weight:normal;font-size: .7em;color:black;} p {font-family:"Verdana";font-weight:normal;color:black;margin-top: -5px} b {font-family:"Verdana";font-weight:bold;color:black;margin-top: -5px} H1 { font-family:"Verdana";font-weight:normal;font-size:18pt;color:red } H2 { font-family:"Verdana";font-weight:normal;font-size:14pt;color:maroon } pre {font-family:"Lucida Console";font-size: .9em} .marker {font-weight: bold; color: black;text-decoration: none;} .version {color: gray;} .error {margin-bottom: 10px;} .expandable { text-decoration:underline; font-weight:bold; color:navy; cursor:hand; } -->

Have the SQL scripts been run?

Can you have a look at the database through SQL Management Studio? Are you trying to install this to a webfarm/cluster?
