E-mail piping


Is there a way to use e-mail piping for creating tickets?
Actually, in our organisation, the management has decided that the only way to submit tickets to our support system is via e-mail.
Is there a way to transform these e-mails into tickets?

mophat has done this, what a great contribution! It will be in the next release, but if you aren't patient enough for that, pull the most recent source.

I will likely start working on this no later than Jan 2010 - sorry it is so far in the future, but I am currently working 12 hrs/day 7 days/week
