Search page broken

Jul 28, 2009 at 9:36 AM

The search button appears to do nothing (doesn't submit the form), neither does the quick jump button (quick jump works on other pages).

The status-bar displays that there is an error on the page and bringing the dialog up, reports:

Line: 879
Char: 9
Error: Object required
Code: 0
URL: http://myserver/slickticket/search.aspx

The problem appears to have been introduced by me using the /IE7/ javascript library to make our IE6 clients (not upgradable) work with SlickTicket. Mea culpa.

Now I just have to figure out how to fix the Administration drop-down menu CSS for ie6...

Sorry I wasn't able to help, I was on vacation - glad you got it figured out.

That CSS would likely be appreciated by the community if you get it figured out :)

IE6 is my enemy ;)

I used Peter Nederlof's Whatever:Hover IE hack and a bit of extra CSS to get IE6 (sort of) working. Here's the contents of my ie6.css:

html {
height: 100%;
body {
behavior: url("");

#nav ul li span {
display: none;

#nav ul li:hover span {
display: block;
position: absolute;
top: 11px;
z-index: 500;
background: #e7efff;
border-width: 2px;
border-style: solid;
border-color: #e7efff #c6dbff #c6dbff #c6dbff;
