New Tickets By Email?

Can Slick Ticket recive new tickets by email?

Sadly, as of right now it cannot.

This is one of my top priorites for v2.0 though!  I think this feature will be great.  My current contract keeps me pretty budy (84 hours weeks - no days off) but is up in December, so I would really like to add this in.  Sorry it is so far away, but I have to pay the bills!

If anyone else is interested in adding this in, the help would be greatly appreciated, just contact me.

Compleatly understand, if any one can create a "ASP Email Parser" for this help desk would be very nice :D

Not rude at all, I would love the help, I have never built anything that reads incoming mail.

I believe there are some email helper classes here and Microsoft has their built-in ones too. The attachment parsing is the most painful--especially the multipart mime stuff. Anyway, I've been using a commercial product from called aspNetIMAP and aspNetEmail. Being that this is an open source project, I suspect you'll want to stay away from commercial libraries. So, I'll look around and see what I can find.
