Parser Error Message: Unrecognized attribute 'type' on setup

I get the error below when accessing SlickTicket for the first time on setup. Pretty sure its my fault, just not sure where to start?

Parser Error Message: Unrecognized attribute 'type'.

Your problem is right at the bottom:

- Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:1.1.4322.2443; ASP.NET Version:1.1.4322.2407

Upgrade to the newest .Net.

Thanks for the tip. I have upgraded to version 2.0 with 3.5 add on. I now receive this message:

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

Are you running this inside of another application?  It should be set up on it's own since this is a 'bottom-level' web.config
