Compilation Error

Dec 7, 2010 at 12:02 AM

I'm trying to get V3 running (first time user/installer here) and am stuck at this:

Server Error in '/SlickTicket' Application.

I've set that directory to be as open as possible, and even tried giving the csc.exe application full permissions, but still get the same error. This is installed on a 2008R2 server, so it's 64 bit OS and web server. I'm only fair on webserver and .NET stuff, so I've gone as far as I can but I'm stuck on this.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Marc

Compilation Error

I am not sure what is causing that, never seen it before - it looks like your compiler is having problems writing to the compiled directory which doesn't really make any sense... maybe try the asp.net forums or something like that.

Sorry I don't have a better answer for you.

I spoke to a friend of mine who does a fair amount of dev work. He suggested that there may be an issue running this on a 64 bit server, which this is - 2008R2. I'm going to build a VM tomorrow with 2008x86 and see how it does.

I'll post and let you know.
